Leading the Life of Riley

We had a few days respite before the final exam marathon begins (for me at least). Three consecutive days of non-stop invigilating, marking and grading... looking forward to it NOT! -.-"

To make full use of the time, we went, once more, to the Red Sea.

Not totally unrelated: On retrospection, I kind of regret not signing up for diving when I first came. The Red Sea, according to one of our friends, has a 60% clarity as compared to say Sipadan at only 45%.
When we initially arrived, we were... how to put it... dejected and disheartened and completely disinclined. More on that when I get home. o.O

Right. Back to what I was saying.

The Red Sea could do no wrong. It is, perpetually, breathtakingly beautiful. More so during summer months when the sun is so strong that no one, except crazy people like us, wants to hang out there. Don't worry, mum. We slathered on tonnes of sunscreen. ^.^ And wore long sleeves (not as if there were a choice for me =.=) The sight of glittering sea is gorgeous beyond description and definitely is more than what these photos can ever hope to capture. ;)

The Red Sea

I'm not a creative photographer (that's more my husband's speed), but I seemed to strike gold this trip. ^.^

See what I mean? My husband called this the 'emo shot'. loooooool. >.> (taken from inside a moving vehicle, yo!)

We took turns...

First you

and then me :D

I wonder if the rock formation were natural? Probably not. A little bit too neat to be Mother Nature's, eh? :P

Near Corniche St.

It's a favorite spot for anglers during the cooler months. It's now virtually empty.

After that trip, I was parched!!!! *glug glug glug*

Now back to the grindstone, you! :P

I would love to move to Oz next, but we've got to pray extra hard for that because our plans are so uncertain for now. :)

the pictures are fab hunny! it definitely looks windy and calm! by the way... is that a lighthouse or a mosque by the sea? either way, it looks really nice =)

gosh.. come to think of it, would be nice to pray in a mosque by the sea =) im sure enlightenment would come by a lil faster =)

RM: Unta sudah tido... zzzzzzz... hahahaha...
I hope we can still remember where the unta place is. We actually stumbled upon the camel keeper and his little posse in the middle of the desert (along the highway to Medina!).
That structure is a mosque. Lovely, innit? :)
I'll be glad to shed the abaya! :P And we're not entirely sure of our plans yet. My husband has applied for jobs in several places (including Msia) and we'll wait and see what the future brings. :D
