Our flight home can't come sooner. Somehow the closer I get to our departure date, the more impatient I become. There seems to be a gazillion things I'd like to do once I step on Msian soil.
One of those would be to get my hands on a copy of Vogue US June 2008.
Heck! I'll probably buy every woman magazine available at the KL international airport newsstand, starved as I am for them. It has been 10 long months since I've perused a nice, glossy, fashion-y mag. I still remember the last one I read was 'OK! Mid-East' whilst transiting in Abu Dhabi. And that doesn't even count because it's more of a gossip rag than a fashion periodical. Bah.
Imagine my 'surprise' when I found out that no international magazines like 'Cosmo', 'Vogue', 'Allure', 'Elle', 'InStyle' (my all-time fav) etc. made it through the customs in this special place. The only decent one available is 'People' and even that has pages ripped out due to "explicit pictures of celebs in evening gowns"! *roll eyes* Seriously.
I. want. this. magazine!
And that is reason no. 17645 why I can't wait to board flight VS8324!
have you watch SATC movie yet? am watching it today. movies reach oz much later compared to Malaysia...hey u like fashion, beach and SATC..u shld come a week here in brizzy n enjoy these stuff. if u dont mind roughing it out, u can live with me. haha.

I haven't watched the movie!!! I'm trapped in sandland, remember? :P I don't think SATC is showing in Msia. Have to either wait for the DVD or catch it in Spore.

Hi there, u are such a fan of SJP - u HAVE to watch the movie! :) It is showing in Malaysia but only in end July. I just watched it 2 nites ago here in S'pore and i loved every minute of it. Thing is, u have to watch the uncensored version so even if it's showing in Malaysia its better to get the DVD.
The shows are reaching the tail end of their screenings here coz they opened in end May and when i went only a few cinemas were showing it and at odd timings at that - so it might be too late in July.
I loved it so much i told my sis that if she comes over to Singapore to watch it, i would go with her again! :D

Jacintaz: Hey, so glad to see you here! (although I haven't been updating lately due to the hassles of tangling with the administration over our final exit papers... it CAN get extremely needlessly complicated in this place).
Yay! Happy to know that Msia is screening the movie. However, knowing the notoriety of our censorship board, the movie might be renamed 'Carrie and Friends'! *eek!!!* Thanks for the good news though. :)
